Midwest Meets Medieval - Karin Jenkins, All-American Woman 2008, and daughter Tara, Miss Illinois All-American 2008, visited the Gloucester Cathedral in Gloucester, England, during their Christmas vacation. The cathedral was used during the filming of The DaVinci Code, as well as the Harry Potter franchise.

Holy Hippies, Batman! - Liz Rizzolo Miller, Ms. Cosmo 2008, shares peace and love with Bat Woman at the “ Summer of Love” Gala to benefit the Flagler Beach (FL) Historical Museum. Liz served as a volunteer hippie at the event.

There Are No Small Titles... - Four-year old Brianna Boucher won a $5,000 bond at the annual Miss U.S. of America pageant in Connecticut. She was crowned the High Point Queen out of 50 contestants.
