THE LOOK: WONDROUS WAVES How to get it: For naturally straight hair, you can get started with a curling iron. For curly hair, you will to first need to blowdry your hair until its almost straight. Once dry, mist your hair with a wax spray or light pomade and separate into several half-inch-wide sections. Wrap each section around the barrel of your curling iron from the mid-shaft, but do not curl the ends. This will give you that cool, elegant look perfect for carefree summer days. Another Option: For those advance planners, spray slightly damp hair with hairspray or spray gel and wrap several wide sections around sponge rollers before going to sleep. Smooth out your curls in the morning by gently running your fingers through them with a light wax or shine pomade. In summer’s humidity, curly hair wants nothing more than to do what its meant to — curl! The only difference between smooth, elegant curls and frizzy, fuzzy ones is the right product and application technique.
