TWO OF A KIND: Miss Florida America Rachael Todd and State Executive Director Mary Sullivan.

A Night to

REMEMBER

The 74th Miss Florida Pageant marked a return to television, but the goal was the same as ever for every contestant

The eyes of the Sunshine State were squarely focused on the city of St. Petersburg during the highly anticipated telecast of the 74th Annual Miss Florida Pageant. Showcasing the talented and community-minded women from throughout the state, the telecast was a return to broadcast prominence for the Miss Florida Organization, and a visual bonanza for the cultural and tourism bureau of the host city.

The explosive and high-energy, red-themed opening production number, appropriately titled, “A Night on the Town,” was quickly followed by the announcement of the Top 10 finalists, who would compete for the title of Miss Florida and the chance of a lifetime in representing the state during the Miss America Pageant in Las Vegas. Earning the right to proceed, following the preliminary rounds of competition were Miss Florida Sunshine Kristina Janolo, Miss Tampa Ashley Panna-gio, Miss Pinellas County Brittany Wardell, Miss Florida Gator Diana Kelly, Miss St. Petersburg Katie

Crews, Miss University of Miami Jaife Calil, Miss Suncoast Rachael Todd, Miss Zephyrhills Ashley Ramsey, Miss South Florida Fair Cassie Stafford, and Miss Miami Jenise Fernandez. Theses 10 young ladies would provide the excitement needed for A Night on
