taken by limo to the Cannoli Joe’s Italian restaurant where they enjoyed a wonderful dinner. On Saturday, the delegates and reigning queens boarded a bus headed to the hill country where they met their friends and families at the Steiner Ranch Clubhouse and enjoyed a Mexican style lunch. Next stop was a visit to the Steiner Ranch Steakhouse restaurant where everyone met the owner— Bobby Steiner—1973 World Champion Bull Rider. Then the last stop for the day was to go to Sunday morning brought rehearsal and again more pictures. The pageant started after lunch despite the rains which started in the early morning. The theme for the pageant was Mardi Gras. All the contestants and reigning queens opened up

The United America Nationals Pageant weekend started off with cold weather, but at least on Saturday, it was not too bad to get out in the Texas weather. Contestants from 13 different states came to the Lone Star State—to the Capitol city— Austin, to compete in the 5th year for the United America pageant. There were six age divisions represented ranging from Jr. Teen, Teen, Miss, Ms., Mrs. and Classic.
After orientation on Friday evening,
the delegates and reigning queens were

Cajun music and passing out beads and
coins to the audience. Each wore a mask,
which was later judged on and the winner
of the Best Mask received a prize.

YEEHAW! Kelli Jackson of Eupora, Mississippi, was crowned the 2010 Miss Rodeo America and was honored at the fourth annual Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.
The results are in and the next Miss Rodeo America has been crowned. The 2010 leading lady of professional rodeo is Kelli Jackson of Eupora, Mississippi. Kelli is the first Miss Rodeo Mississippi to achieve the title of Miss Rodeo America. During the next year, she will travel more than 100,000 miles representing Miss Rodeo America, Inc. and the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association.
“I am an enthusiastic rodeo fan and
spirited competitor,” Kelli said. “The sport
of rodeo encompasses not only my dreams,
but also my passion. As Miss Rodeo
America, I will offer a welcoming glimpse
of the western lifestyle and the sport of
rodeo to our nation.”

Ridley of Alta Loma, California, fulfilled
her duties at the 51st anniversary of the
Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. Kelli
was also introduced as 2010 Miss Rodeo
America at the fourth performance of the
Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in De-
cember. She will begin making appear-
ances at rodeos across the country.
In a press conference following her coronation Kelli thanked her family for encouraging her to dare to dream and believing in her.
“My family provided a strong foundation and it’s all of you have taught me to fly,” Kelli said about her supporters.
Aside from her rodeo interests, Kelli
has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History
and Political Science from Wheaton Col-
lege. Her goal is to obtain a Master’s De-
gree in Public Policy with an Agricultural
Development Focus from Duke Universi-
ty. Kelli will be able to put to good use the
$10,000 educational scholarship she will
receive at the completion of her reign.
